At Saturno Maple Farm, we produce pure maple syrup in small batches here on our family farm in Avondale, Nova Scotia.
Our maple syrup begins with the trees growing around our farm. During maple season, we tap the trees, collect the sap and bring it through the maple-making process until it becomes the finished syrup we bottle and sell.
We're a small family operation, so maple syrup isn't simply something sitting on a shelf here. We know where it came from, how it was made and the work that went into every batch.
When temperatures are right, we tap our maple trees and collect their naturally flowing sap.
Sap is gathered from the sugar woods and brought in for processing.
We use reverse osmosis to remove some of the water before boiling.
The concentrated sap is boiled until it reaches maple syrup.
The finished syrup is filtered and bottled here at Saturno Maple Farm.
Our pure maple syrup is available directly from Saturno Maple Farm in Avondale, Nova Scotia, just a short drive from Windsor and the Annapolis Valley.
